Warning Description: Fire Weather Warning
Warning Date: 6:10 am EST on November 20, 2008
WarningSum:...Red Flag Warning Remains In Effect From 11 Am This Morning To
5 Pm Est This Afternoon...
Warning Message:A red flag warning remains in effect from 11 am this morning to
5 PM EST this afternoon.
Drier air will reside over the warning area through Thursday with
relative humidity levels falling below 35 percent for 4 to
5 hours Thursday afternoon. Northwest to west winds are expected
at 5 to 10 mph.
A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now...or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures will
create explosive fire growth potential.
